Newborn Pimples And Rashes
Even newborns have pimple and rashes. You don’t need to panic; this doesn’t mean that your newborn is going to have pimple marks and scarred skin for life. This problem needs to be tackled and treated at the right time. The reason behind acne and pimples in newborns still remains a debatable question. It is believed that hormones transferred from the mother to the baby could be the cause or maybe the medicines that mothers take during breast feeding are the cause.
Use only Mild Detergent
While treating newborn acne, you need to use a super mild detergent because the baby skin is really sensitive. Strong detergents can cause allergies or reactions that could be really painful for the infant. No moisturizers or treatment medications that you use for yourself should be used for the newborn.
It is best to simply have a cleansing routine for the pimples and rash of the child and wait till the next appointment with your doctor to consult with him regarding the newborn’s pimples and rashes. It may also happen that by a week or two, the rash might simply disappear as it had appeared. Not just the personal hygiene of your child and that if your own, you need to keep the child’s environment, the sheets, blankets, and clothes all well kept.
Keep the Child’s Environment Clean
Often bacteria hidden in stale sheets or blankets tend to affect the tender skin of the child and we might never feel any effect of that. If the problem still persists you need to consult with a doctor definitely.
